Dead Dreams Produce More Fruit

Have you ever felt so discouraged that it seemed like your dreams had died? The Lord spoke to me these words and I keep hearing them over and over again in my spirit. The Lord said, “It’s time to dream again!”

I don’t know about you but I’ve gone through incredibly difficult seasons of my life where it seemed all my passion was drained right out of my heart and my dreams had vanished completely. God had birthed incredible dreams in my heart of things I wanted to accomplish in ministry and when painful or difficult situations arose in my life, all of those dreams just seemed to have died inside of me.

Maybe you have felt this way before. Maybe you feel this way right now. Difficulty can weigh heavy on the human heart and discouragement, fear, and worry can overtake us so easily at times. But I have a word from the Lord for you today! “It’s time to dream again!”

If you are going through a situation where it feels that your dreams have died, your hope has been deferred and all of those amazing and exciting things you wanted to do for God now seem to be dead as well, then you need to know a powerful truth found in the word of God. You see, you are exactly where you need to be!

In John 12:24 Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”

It may not feel like it, but you are in an incredibly important season of your life right now. Your dream has to die before it can produce fruit. If the dream never dies, then all it will ever be is a dream; out of reach, just wishful thinking. But something powerful happens when the enemy tries to kill your dream! When your dream falls to the ground and dies, then it produces “many seeds”. In other words, the dream is resurrected and comes back to life but it doesn’t return alone. It produces more dreams than you had in the first place! In the above verse, Jesus was speaking prophetically of his death and resurrection. Only by him dying could he redeem the seed of humanity. Satan thought he had won when Jesus died on the cross but Jesus was resurrected by the Spirit of God and bore sons and daughters unto God!

Satan thought he had won by destroying your dream but it will actually cost him big time! Your dream is about to come to life again by the same Spirit of God and produce fruit like never before. Get ready because it’s time to dream again. It’s time for the dreams of God to flood your heart again and produce fruit unto God.

Allow God to ignite his dreams in your heart again. Remember that every dream, desire, or vision that died can now produce fruit like never before as God breathes upon it and resurrects it in your life. You trule are in the best place to receive a miracle from God.
